Frequently Asked Questions

To guarantee the ashes returned to you are from your pet only we use a process called individual cremation. Your pet will be placed alone into the empty and scrupulously clean cremator and at the end of the process their ashes will be carefully collected then returned to you. We use a carefully maintained log and tracking system to ensure the authenticity of the service we provide covering the whole time your pet is with us.

Depending on the size of your pet an individual cremation will take from approximately one hour to over three hours in some cases.

We welcome anyone who wishes to visit our premises at any time, we can answer any question you may have and let you see what we do here. However we must at all times respect the dignity of those pets with us, their care will be our priority and for that reason it is advised to arrange a visit ahead of time.

We are more than happy for you to bring your pet directly to us and there will be an opportunity to say your final goodbyes here. If you are unable to visit or prefer not to visit then we can arrange to collect your pet from home or from your veterinary surgery. We will call you when your pet’s ashes are available for collection or we will make arrangements to return them to you. There will be a charge for mileage – please see our price list.

Our price list shows the full cost of cremation of your pet with ashes ready for collection, either in a wooden casket or in a scatter tube. There will be no additional or ‘hidden’ costs in this service. However if we collect or return then mileage will incur an additional charge. Likewise any casket or memorial you chose instead of our standard product is likely to incur an extra charge.

In these cases we will make clear the full cost of our service before we go ahead with cremation.

Please contact us or ask someone to call on your behalf and we will begin to guide you through the cremation process.

Please contact us as soon as possible with any complaint. For ways to contact us and a description of how we will deal with your complaint please download our Complaint Handling Procedure.
